RPR works with public and community organisations to assist them with governance, planning and organisational development. The work we do in this area is people centred and designed to fit the needs of each individual organisation. Our first step is always a careful assessment of the issues, context and priorities of our clients. We do not rely on formula solutions, but rather draw on a wide repertoire of tools that we can use flexibly to assist in developing the individual manager, Board, or whole organisation.
We have been engaged by a wide range of Boards and management committees to provide assistance with articulating their vision, and building their effectiveness. This is done by developing shared understandings of Board members' roles as leaders and trustees of their organisations, and supporting them to develop policy and strategies to achieve effective governance.
We also assist organisations in setting strategic policy directions, planning and evaluation, managing change and transition, human resource policy development and workforce planning, communication and teambuilding. The processes we use focus on aligning the structures, processes/systems, culture and people of the organisation in a sustainable way to support its strategic directions. We take account of the whole system and the way different parts of the system interact.
RPR also offers leadership development and mentoring services to managers to assist them in thinking about their work and their organisation. This often includes assisting them to develop and implement performance management systems. We provide regular mentoring services to individual clients who work in government departments, peak bodies and smaller community organisations.
We have also devised and delivered training programs to assist individual organisations and whole programs to enhance their organisational capacity.
