About RPR ConsultingThe RPR teamRPR Consulting was established in 1995 by Lyla Rogan, Ann Porcino and Penny Ryan (hence the "RPR"). Since then, Deb Michels has joined us as a Director and we have employed skilled and experienced people to help meet the expanding needs of our clients. Our clientsRPR provides services to national, state and local community organisations; commonwealth, state and territory governments; and private sector companies. We often play a bridging role, helping different sectors work together more effectively. The work we doOur work is primarily in the human services and social policy field but, increasingly, we are successfully transferring this knowledge base to other areas. We have strong expertise in organisational, program and policy development; facilitation and community consultation; good governance and organisational change; good practice and quality improvement; and individual mentoring and group training. RPR is respected for bringing a depth of policy and service delivery knowledge to all our work, and for our ability to manage complex stakeholder interests and relationships. We have a good reputation for delivering credible, well-informed and practical outcomes. Our approachWe have four key goals in any work we do. These goals are reflected in the methods and processes we use and our relationship with the client and other stakeholders. Making a differenceWe want to achieve change which improves the situation, whether the focus of our work is policy, the way people manage or the quality of services provided by agencies. At another level we want our work to make a positive difference to how communities and our society provide for people. Achieving sustainable improvements or changeWe are mindful that working with clients on a time-limited basis can potentially mean momentum is lost once a consultancy is completed. Our processes are directed to building understanding and ownership by those that must carry the product or change forward, delivering practical outcomes and leaving in place the foundations required for successful implementation. Transferring skills and expertiseClients using our group can expect our expertise and knowledge to add value in any process. Our approach also seeks to strengthen the skills and knowledge of the people involved. This is critical to organisations benefiting from a consultancy. Delivering a quality result on timeWe have a strong track record of delivering a high quality product. Quality stems from the end product being appropriate, useful and credible. Clients can expect our team to meet deadlines without compromising quality. Minimising our carbon footprintWe have a goal of becoming completely carbon-neutral. We keep our greenhouse emissions as low as possible, in particular by seeking alternatives to air-travel, and by investing in renewable energy to offset emissions we have been unable to avoid. |
